It Just Takes One Campaign

One opportunity can make a lasting difference in the life of a child. One dream can give a sense of purpose for a lifetime. One voice can relay wisdom that resonates for generations. One Boys & Girls Club can give hope to an entire neighborhood. One person like you can help fulfill the dream of a brighter tomorrow for more children in our community.

At Boys & Girls Clubs, any gift—no matter how big or small—is immensely appreciated. This is the idea behind our It Just Takes One Campaign: It just takes One caring adult, One Boys & Girls Club, and One gift to forever impact the life of a child.

This campaign ensures that the doors to the Club remain open and accessible to all children and that the Clubs are able to continue to provide:

* A Safe Place for those who may be left alone after school or on the streets with no guidance. The Clubs are a safe place to play and a place safe enough where kids can be themselves.
* Life-Enhancing Programs that can open young minds. The Boys & Girls Clubs expose youth to new ideas and skills that prepare them for life. We teach the importance of character in all of our programs.
* A Relationship with Caring, Trained Adults. The availability of dependable, caring adults who are responsive to a child’s daily realities are critical to developing meaningful, often lifelong relationships, that enable children to reach their full potential.

As you know, we purposely keep dues low so that all children will have the opportunity to join. You can help make this opportunity, to develop relationships with caring professionals and to experience programs that build character, by making a financial contribution.

We respectfully request that you consider making a personal unrestricted donation to the Annual Giving Campaign. Funds raised in this campaign will be used for general operating expenses and are absolutely necessary to run our successful organization.

It just takes one person to help make our dreams come true. It just takes you. Your financial commitment will enable us to continue the work that will shape the future of our Club and the hundreds of children who attend each year.
