The Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area follows the Aberdeen Public School District's yearly calendar. If your child attends a non-public school, please be aware of our hours of operation and closures.

2026 Summer Program Reminders:

2026 Summer Program Enrollment:

For families seeking memberships ONLY for our 2026 Summer Program,

enrollment will open on April 20, 2026!

Summer Program Membership Dates: May 20, 2026 - August 17, 2026

Summer Program Membership Fee: $300/child, due at sign-up


 2026 Summer Program Dates & Times:

  • Summer Program begins: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
  • Summer Program ends: Monday, August 17, 2026
  • Hours of Operation: Mondays - Fridays 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Club Closed: May 25 (Memorial Day) and July 3 (Independence Day)
  • Grades 1-12 (Club members are considered their 2026-2027 academic grade level for our 2026 Summer Program)


 What to Bring:

  •  Refillable water bottle
  • Membership Card
  • Sunscreen (apply before drop-off, send extra if needed, especially for outdoor time & field trips)
  • Comfortable clothes for indoor & outdoor play
  • Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)


 Drop-Off & Pick-Up:

  •  Please arrive & depart during our hours of operation
  • Ensure your child has their membership card every day
  • Notify staff if someone new is picking up your child


 Additional Notes:

  •  No personal electronics or toys for Grades K-5
  • Expect messy play – dress accordingly!
  • Some clubs include reading time or academic activities
  • Splash Days – bring swimsuit/towel if needed

Summer Program Meals & Snacks!

Breakfast: Served at 8:00am Daily ($1 day/child)

Lunch: Served starting at 11:00am Daily

Snack: Served starting at 3:00pm Daily


Lunch & Snack are served by grade level. Announcements will be made via our intercom system & by Club staff in each room when meals/snacks and grades are called.


Breakfast is served at 8:00am daily during our Summer Program. Breakfast is $1 per day per child. Cash only for breakfast! Breakfast menu is decided on a weekly basis by our Nutrition Director.


Sack Lunch: Members are allowed to bring a sack lunch during our Summer Program and on non-school days if they wish. We have a storage shelf located in our dining room where sack lunches can be kept avoiding any theft issues. Please label your child's food storage with their first & last name. Sack lunch is announced at 11:00am daily during our summer program/no school days.


Special Dietary Needs: If applicable, remind the Club of any specific dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of time.
